Take me out to the ball game!

I know this is a little late. T-ball has been over since Memorial Day weekend. But I lost my SD card that had all the pictures on it and Matt found it yesterday!! Yay!!
So let me tell you a little bit about T-ball.
Matt has a dream of his boys loving to play at least one sport. So he's decided to let them give each one a chance. Mason played soccer last spring. He wasn't to excited about all the running.
He didn't like it to much. But he totally loved T-ball. He understood the basics and was actually pretty good. Mattix has been dieing to be on a team like his big brother. Matt talked them people into letting Mattix be on the team. He is really good. But when it came down to it. I think he was probably not ready. But when he's older and his attention span is a little bigger he's going to be a great ball player.
The season didn't seem to last very long. It rained most of the games. So I think we really only played 4 games. The last game was Memorial weekend and we were out of town so we missed it. Hopefully next time mother nature will cooperate and we'll get to enjoy the season.
Our uniforms like always were way to big. But we were sure proud to put them on.
In the end the boys got their trophy the main reason we play sports. (every game they'd ask if today was the day they were getting their trophies)
I love being a the mom of sporty boys. I love cheering for my boys and watching them play. It makes me proud to see them learn new things and try their best.
Have I said lately how lucky I am to have such wonderful guys in my life? I love my little family.
The day of our first game Mattix was so excited he slept with his mitt at naptime.

Matt bought the boys a T to practice on. Mattix practiced every chance he got.

My two favorite T-ball players.
Mason looking like a pro.

The boys love at the end of the game giving high 5's to the other team.
It's unorganized and someone always get's smacked in the face on accident.
But it's cute.
Again with the high 5's.

Mattix playing 1st base.
Daddy being a great coach!

Mason running to 1st base.

All ready and off to the game.

Our trophies. Not to impressed with them. It's more like a toy than a trophy.
A Nerf ball with bendy arms and legs. What happened to the old "real" trophies?
They like them and they are proud of them. So I guess that's all that matters.
