It's raining, it's pouring....

With all the rain lately, my poor kids have gotten to the point that we are sick of playing inside.

So the other day Mattix and I played in the rain. We got soaked but we had lots of fun making footprints and catching raindrops in our mouth.

The Mason Man is growing up

Mason completed his first year of preschool!!

I can't believe how much older he looks compared to his first day.

His class put on a play. Mason was the Giraffe. He had his own part he wasn't afraid at all.
He got up there and he sang it and had fun.

He was so proud to be the giraffe. He did awesome!

Along with the play they also sang many of the cute song he learned throughout the year.

I loved watching him in action.

He's learned so much this year.

Lost track but oh well!

I've lost track of what day I am supposed to be on.

But at least my attempt gave me a jump start to the kind of blog I am hoping for.

Today is one of those days. It's raining, I didn't sleep good last night and it just seems that everyone is in a cranky mood.

I took this picture because it just depicts my day so far. I was reading my friend Jessica's blog and I have to quote her to describe the feelings behind this picture.

Hoping tomorrow is sunny and a better day. Maybe a little more sleep too.

Day 7~ Proud mom moment.

So this isn't the best picture but I hope you can tell that it's a life size map of the 50 nifty united states of America.

I am proud to say that my 4 year old knows all 50 states. He's not so good at identifing them but thanks to Ms. Sandy and her awesome skills I am able to show off my Mr. Smarty Pants.

Day 6

Day 6 .... Profound thoughts when frustrated.

We have recently moved our movies and books into the closet so maybe we can control their mess a little better. This is just an example of when I clean up something the boys seem to come along 5 min later and get it all out again. My house always seems to be a mess. I look around and some days it really bugs me. But as I was looking for great Mother's day quotes I found this one from Pres. Monson. Which is beautiful and makes me feel like I am not such a slacker. I am just enjoying my children.

Day 5

Day 5- Brotherly love
The boys started T-ball the other day. Matt was able to talk them into letting Mattix sign up dispite the fact he's a little to young. But it didn't stop him. The boys did great. My boys stuck together. I love it!

Day 4

Day 3

Day 3~ Monday Family night and Goals

Matt found me a treamill a month or so ago. And ever since I have been determined to make it "worth it." My first goal is to walk at least a mile a day. I do pretty good once I get in the habit it's easy to just do it. But this last weekend I slacked. Oh well I made up for it.

Last night for family home evening we got the whole family involved in exercise. We took the boys to the Jordan River Parkway and had a blast. We walked to a pond and fed the ducks with Jimmy and Nadia. The boys loved it. Mason kept asking me while we were walking. Why are we walking. I kept telling him " for excercise." On the way back he told us he loves excercise. (Yeah he got to ride the stroller half the way.) I hope my family can stay active and love excercise always. I know I need to work on it. Especially if I want to look ok in my swimsuit this summer!

Day 2

Day 2...
We've decided to give gardening a try again this year. Last year we spent way to much money for nothing but tomatoes and strawberries to grow. This year we bought a $17 kit from Sam's and started these from seeds. I am so proud we've gotten this far!! Now let's see what happens when we plant them?? Wish us luck.
