Humpty Dumpty

One of my favorite things about Kindergarten at the boys' school is the Mother Goose Museum. Last year Mason was Jack from Jack and Jill. And this year Mattix was Humpty Dumpty.
The way a Mother Goose Museum works, is the kids all represent a nursery rhyme and they stand in front of their back drop dressed up. They are supposed to stand like statues until someone pushes their sticker button. Which makes them come to life and recite their rhyme.
Mattix did not want to dress up all. He is so shy. We looked at many costumes online and talked about having grandma sew him something. But he just didn't want to. He remembered a hand puppet we had made for preschool a few years ago and said that's all he wanted. I was thinking one night while laying in bed looking at all the boxes surrounding me... He could wear a box. So this is what we came up with. I think it turned out awesome. And him "hiding" inside a box made him feel braver than usual.

Trying to stand still. But smiling so hard because someone is getting read to push his button.
