The Kindergartener's at Mason's school have been learning nursery rhymes all year. All the kids got to pick their favorite nursery rhyme and present it at their "Mother Goose Museum." They painted back drops and dressed up. It was so cute. Mason was so excited, he picked Jack and Jill and had it memorized. We found some overalls and pail at the DI that we painted. He was set.
So this is how it was supposed to work. Every kid had a rhyme with a backdrop. And they were supposed to stand by their backdrop like a statue until someone came along and pushed that red button on their shirt. Than they come to life and say their rhyme and go back to statue.
There was one set back that day, he didn't know that there was a little girl in the other class that had picked Jack and Jill also. (A GIRL!) I guess I never realized how anti-girl my child is. He refused to stand next to her. And the girl had it all planned out, she wanted Mason to say the rhyme with her at the same time. He was not having it. He stood there and only talked if someone pushed his button. She even tried to hold his hand. He flipped. And there was even some tears. It was a mess. But I finally convinced him that he didn't have to do it with her and only had to do it when his button was pushed. So he stayed as far away from her as he could.

See that face? "Mooooommmm do I have to stand by her? I don't want too!"
I love it. I hope girls keep their cooties for a few more years.
