Mom can you build us a clubhouse?

Yesterday Mason came in the house and declared to me that we needed to build a club house. We have all these empty boxes that are just sitting here. From my mom's cabnits that Matt's been working on. Taunting him. His little creative mind is just swimming with ideas. He wants to build a robot and a clubhouse and the list goes on and on. Mattix had one of his friends from nursery over and Jackson was here. So I thought it might be fun. I started looking at the boxes and my creative juices started swimming too. I call it a fort he calls it a clubhouse. Same diff. Everyone helped decorate.

Markers, Crayons and even paint pens.

Swirls, squiggles and even some happy faces. :)

There were windows...

And a door. Of course it wouldn't be complete without a door.

We even decorated the inside.

We got sneaky and added a secret window.

Who is it??

It's me Sir Mason with a sword!!

Ahh don't let him in!!

I'm going to get you!!

Sword fight anyone??

Craigy got the tree. Now we are safe!

Mason thought we needed to tape branches to the top for camo.

After hard play we needed some blue juice to cool us down.
Can you see our blue tongues??

Smile and Have some fun!

Manning has been working on some new teeth. He chews on everything!

The boys and I made a sign and decorated for Matt's Birthday.

They each signed it and added something to it.

Daddy found us some cool glow toys at the dollar store.

Manning graduated from the BUMBO to the table highchair. He now eats with the family!

He's also started pulling himself up and scaling things.

Mason and Mattix got hair cuts and Daddy discovered how to keep the hair off and keep the boys somewhat still. :)

Mason thought it was great!

Hair Hair everywhere!

Hanging out at Nana's playing with our cousins. Poor Addison. Come on through Mattix!

Cheese!!

Donna and Matt fighting over the cookie dough.
Aunt Delores, Donna and Rachel came and stayed a few days for Jimmy and Nadia's wedding. We loved hanging out and spending time with them.

Donna made Manning a shaker. He loved it.

Addison liked the shaker too.

We took off one day and hung out with our friends. Did some DI hopping and had lunch at the park. I thought this was a funny picture. Wow lady are those all your kids?
I had all these pictures. I thought it would be fun to share our month so far!

My Parents Are Exhausted!

Manning's feeling it too. Naptime!!

Wouldn't it be great to sleep whenever you got tired??

One black eye and one red eye. Kind of creepy!
My boys sporting the jammie day look.

Manning get's the best spot in town.
Two very tired guys.

Mason so tired he dropped?? Yeah right. Faker!
When Mason was 2 we found a shirt and bought it that says "My Parents are Exhausted." Everytime one of them wears it I think to myself, that is more than an understatement.
So once again my blogger friends are the last to know. I quit my job. I lasted almost 2 weeks. It was just not working out and it wasn't worth it. Point Blank!! I am finally to the point that I don't feel so guilty for doing it.
But since than Matt started working UPS and has quit his full time job. He has been waking up around 2:00 in the morning and going to work. And for the past week he's been working his hynee off (because he's so wonderful) at my parents house replacing their whole kitchen. They've had some major water damage and mold problems. So Matt and his mad skill have been working very hard. He's amazing I don't know how he does it all. I do believe I have discovered his secret... Keep working don't sit down. Because if you are anything like Matt you will not get up and more than likely you will end up sound asleep.
Today we decided to have a jammie day and get some rest. I have been trying to keep things together at home and be as supportive as I can. Because he gets up so early he goes to bed by 7:00 p.m. The boys are not ready for bed and are still running. So I have been trying to get them out of the house so he has a chance to fall asleep. I have been taking them for very long walks or on nights with bad weather we hang out at Walmart or visit whoever will take us in. Than I bring them home and get them ready for bed and put them to bed. I don't know what my problem is. I should be used to this but I am very tired too.
I have had some pretty exciting (to say the least) days. I got my first speeding ticket the other day. I was driving home from Walmart and the boys of course are screaming and throwing a fit in the back and I am hurrying home to make everyone happy and get them a drink. I wasn't paying attention to my speed and yep I got caught. 53 in a 35 zone. ($105 ticket) Super sucky!! So that along with other things I will not mention. I will spare you the drama that I call my life.
So in a nutshell things are as usuall crazy in the Harris house. But I suppose I will eventually get used to it.
I have staged a plan of attack on my pitty party attitude. I started today with operation don't stress day. I didn't even open the blinds. It sure felt good. I was even motivated to clean. :)
Matt starts school tomorrow. I am very excited for him. I hope he can be able to focus. I wish I wasn't such a drama queen so he didn't have to worry about me and the boys.
I am starting preschool on the 31st. And I am very excited. So we have alot going on and I just hope we can all flow through all this LIFE and come out stronger and better people. I know we have alot to learn through all that is coming.

Mommy's little helpers

All of my boys have loved the dishwasher and love to climb in it. Manning is starting already.

Can I help you mom?

Manning is great at unloading even when I am trying to load the dirty dishes. He hasn't quite grasped the concept yet. To him they are all fun to play with and it all at within his reach.

Mattix loves to help with the dishes. He has mastered cleaning off the table and scrubbing the dishes with the brush and he is a pro at loading plates and silverware.

Again with the helping hands.

" Got it! Now I just need a fork. "

Mattix took a picture of the dirty dishes. I think it looks pretty cool.
Give them a few years I will have to beg and beg them to help with chores. Mason's already there. Chores are sooo boring. He's too tired. Or many other excuses. He's very good at coming up with good reasons not to help.

One of our fav. summer events family reunions....

GGma helped out alot holding Manning they had a nice spot in the shade.
As you can tell he didn't mind it to much either.
My Grandma's cousin so my 3 cousin made this super cute cake. Due to the crazy heat it melted pretty quickly. I am so glad I got a pic before it did. Apparently the outhouse memories were before my time. But I still enjoyed it.

My Grandma and her Sister my great Aunt and a couple of their cousins.
Aunt Margret Ann leaves the best kiss prints on your cheek. I love her.

Every year at this Hone reunion we play BINGO for white elephant prizes. I always loved it when I was little and now the boys love to be a part of it now.

Visiting is always fun too. Some of these people we only see once a year. But it's still fun to see them.
I have always loved going to family reunions. Even when I was a little kid. My mom always took us to them. I like getting to know my family and it's all so fun to see everyone. Now that I have my boys it even more fun to go and show off my cute family. (yes I am a very proud mom) And it's also fun to see everyone else as they grow up and have families of their own or as they grow up and get more gray hairs. :) I try to get to all of them every summer. Unfortunatly with all that has gone one this last month we missed one for my Dad's side. I am sad that I didn't get to see my Grandma and all my family. Honestly my dream one day is to have enough time and money to see every one often. I would love for my family to see my boys and watch them grow and enjoy the time we have to spend here together. One of these days.

A few masterpieces from my favorite artists...

My boys love to draw lately. I love it!!
I wish I could save every picture they draw. But I already have issues with being a pack rat. So I thought I would pick my favorites and take pictures of them to post on my blog. I know I'm their mom and my opinion is probably a little fixed. But I think my kids are pretty awesome artists and I love to see their imagination come out on paper.
Mattix's picture. He couldn't really remember what he drew.
But check out those circles.
This is Mason's picture he drew at Julie's house. (their babysitter)
It's a picture of our family. I'm the one holding baby Manning.

This was another one he drew. But the reason Manning isn't in this one is because this is our picture from last year he said. Manning wasn't in my tummy yet.

This one is a hint into my 4 year old's crude humor. This is what he calls a man with a bum for a head. So for us grown ups that don't get into to much trouble when we use certain words.
This is a "Butt head."

This is a portrait of his favorite Mommy. ME!! I love when he draws me.

This is one of my favorites. He asked me one day how do you spell "Adventure."
I wasn't paying to much attention to what he was doing but when he was done he had me tape it together like a book. And this is what he made. An Adventure book. I love how he writes.
(We love the movie UP)
